26 and 30 weeks

The top picture is 26 weeks and the bottom is 30 weeks. I am a bit behind since our main computer seems to be having issues. I am tired but feeling pretty good overall. I have not gained too much weight. My plan is to start a pregnancy exercise video. I need to try to fit that in with homeschooling :)We are very excited to be able to meet our new little guy in the near future. I have been praying to Yahweh in Yahshua's name for a natural birth and help with back labor. I feel very blessed and am excited for this wonderful new addition coming. Thank you Father for all you do. Please continue to increase our wisdom and discernment so that we can please you in all things! You are a awesome Father who is merciful, gracious and loving! Thank you so much for helping us home-school. We know you will write your statues and laws on our hearts. May it all be to your glory! We trust you and have no fear because perfect love casts out fear. In Yahshua's name amen.

Learning at Home

I remember when I was a little girl, I wanted to be a teacher. I never knew I would be teaching my own children at home. I didn't even know it was an option up until  several years ago. I know it has been around, well since there has been parents but then public school seem to overshadow this option in today's world. Now more and more are bringing back this other educational option.Once I started knowing about it a bit about it, I may of at first had a not so sure opinion about it. I thought parents should have the option but I wasn't sure if it was a necessarily great idea especially for our family.

As Yahweh grew me in faith in my walk and I started praying for wisdom and discernment and understanding the public school and were it has been heading over the years my heart changed to think that maybe it is something I should research more and think about.... I also prayed that he would help me be able to find ways to spend quality time with my kids and help me have more of a schedule that would work for us. Not a rigged, controlling schedule that wasn't flexible but something to help us utilize time better but still have room for spontaneity and fun learning.Yahweh changed my heart to help me understand why homeschooling is important and could work for us and I obtained a deep desire to home~school my own children. coming from having had many reasons and what I thought were valid reasons not to.My husband did not like the idea at first even after my heart had been changed. I prayed on that as well and he started to become more open to the idea. I tried to plant little seeds but not press too hard but I think I may have gotten possibly too passionate but Yahweh still worked it out for good. He started to come and around and finally told me I could do it last school year after they finished our their year. So here we are in our new school at home.
I praise Yahweh for this opportunity. He put everything together for me. This summer I was excited but I didn't know where to begin. My husband found some books for me at Goodwill and I looked up ideas online. I started putting together our schoolroom this summer. My husband painted a chalkboard in our dining room even before I knew for sure I would home-school one day. I started finding great school items at the dollar tree,Goodwill and yard sales. I went from absolutely not having a clue how to begin to things coming together at the right time and having a understanding on how to start.

I owe all the praise to Yahweh for this great opportunity. We are trying different methods of homeschooling, and unschooling :) It is a awesome adventure and the kids are enjoying it for the most part. Sometimes my 2nd grade son gets tired but we take breaks and it helps. So far I have a 3rd grader and 2nd grader I am teaching and I am slowly trying to teach preschool to my almost 4 year old. I am not saying there isn't challenges or frustrations,  but overall we are all enjoying it and I am so grateful Yahweh has made me a teacher for my kids and showing me my purpose. I know parents are always teachers at all times but he really is helping it come full circle for us. I also feel more of a sense of happiness and accomplishment for it and it has really helped my creativity to bloom again. Thank you Father for putting this all together for us, you have broaden our horizons and helped our family grow more together and close. May you use our learning for your glory and good and continue blessing our family in this great new adventure. In Yahshua's name! HalleluYah!

A few scriptures to ponder on how our children are a wonderful blessing and gift from our Father and we are to teach them about him;

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalm 127:3-5

And all thy children shall be taught of the YHWH; and great shall be the peace of thy children. Isiah 54:13

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. Deuteronomy 6:6-9

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

20 weeks

Just hit the halfway mark!  On Monday my husband, daughter and 3 year old went  to my ultrasound. We found out we are having another wonderful............ BOY!!! Our daughter took it well and I was prepared for having another brother.  Good news we have plenty of boy clothes. He is a very healthy baby and so I praise Yahweh for this blessing. I got a little stressed about choosing a name. Since I have 4 boys I am running out of ideas LOL. All the kids names end in N and I wanted a Hebrew name this time. We actually agreed on a name we liked in the past and will announce the baby's name once he is born. My due date is January 13th. We are excited for this new addition to our family. Children are a blessing! The bottom picture is our lovely, wonderful daughter. So blessed to have her and our other boys. Thank you YAH!!!!

16 weeks

This update is a little late, our main computer was not working. I turned 16 weeks, July 31, 2014. I was still getting morning sickness especially in the morning it seems and I still wake up with morning sickness but it isn't as bad throughout the day. I am craving pizza, ice cream, hamburgers, lemonade and sometimes squirt but also fruits and veggies. My husband is having the cravings right along with me and morning sickness. I am not feeling as tired but get really tired toward evening instead of 2 to 3 pm which is fine with me I would rather be tired in the evening. He is pretty confident it is a girl because with our daughter he experienced the same thing. We will find out August 25th at our 20 week ultrasound! Our daughter is hoping for a sister and prayed for one. We are hoping for another girl as well since we have 4 boys, but I know this baby will be a blessing either way.
I plan on homeschooling all my grade school children and am very excited about that. This is the first year and there is sure to be challenges with a new baby but I know it will be worth it. Praise Yahweh for the support of my husband and the motivation and courage to start this new very important task of educating my children. I also pray that I can my oldest son will be protected and blessed as he starts eight grade and I can guide him through it. In Yahshua's name. Amen.

bean and cheese burritos

This is a simple, delicious and frugal recipe to try. Also you can freeze these and use them for lunches or dinner. Maybe add some eggs to them for a quick breakfast.

  • A bag of dried pinto beans
  • tortilla shells
  • cheese

Rinse the beans and pick out the broken ones. Place them in a crock-pot and cover them with water.

Add garlic, bay leaves and cumin to flavor

Cook on low overnight

Drain some of the water but leave some in and mash the beans with a masher

Scoop beans onto shells and add shredded cheese on top of the beans

Roll the tortillas into burritos

At this point you can choose to freeze them in a freezer bag or cook them

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Place burritos on cookie sheet

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes

My kids loved these and we will have  often for our home-school lunches and may also try some breakfast ones :)

3. "Lo, children are an heritage of the Yahweh: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."  Psalm 127:3-5

I also have been busy planning our home-school for all our younger kids, I plan on posting on this in the future. I praise Yahweh  for this also because I would not be able to do this with our his help.

What is truth?

There are many deceptions in this world and satan has had his hand in it all and be careful he deals with religion as well. Don't neglect prayer life and studying the bible and religious history. Yahweh will reveal truths to you just like it says in Jeremiah 33:3 "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."

Wisdom and discernment is quite important and in Yahweh's word and is discussed over and over again.

  • "The fear of the Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs  1:7
  • "Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear Yahweh and turn away from evil." Proverbs 3:7
  • "Through presumption comes nothing but strife, But with those who receive counsel is wisdom." Proverbs 13:10
  • "The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way, But the folly of fools is deceit." Proverbs 14:8

  • "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5
  • "But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy." James 3:17

  • "Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of Yahweh are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them."  Hosea 14:9
These are just a few scriptures about wisdom and discernment, the important thing to remember is to ask Yahweh first and he will answer in his way and his time if it is his will. Also I pray that he guides me in my day so if I encounter anyone that I need to speak truth if it be his will and it will be his truth in Yahshua's name. I also pray to be more like Yahshua and Yahweh is changing me bit by bit.

One day I was asking what is truth? I was struggling and I should have been praying and talking to Yahweh first but he did answer me in his own way. This is a question Ponch's Pilate asked in  John 18

I am starting in John 18:33 and to 38 I encourage you to study the whole chapter :) "Then Pilate entered into the judgement hall again, and called Yahshua, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? 34 Yahshua answered him, sayest though this thing of thyself, or did others tell thee of me? 35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? 36 Yahshua answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom no from hence. 37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Yahshua answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. 38 Pilate saith unto him, what is truth? and when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

I believe Yahweh answered me and said I will show you truth and you will hear my son's voice. Rely on me and my will and I will direct your path into where I want you to go. Yahshua never defended the truth he just spoke it. Halleluyah!

And so I thank Yahweh for this word so that I can stay on the right path and plant seeds to others and let him cultivate them unto his will and way. I pray for all whom I encounter and I love them as my neighbor and I also to love Yahweh will all my heart mind and soul. Thank you in your precious son's name Yahshua my king and savior.

Ten Ways to Love Your Husband

This is my best friend and I know that sometimes as a husband I take him for granted. Yahweh speaks to me and asks me, "Are you treating him as your neighbor and loving him as Yahshua loves the church"? Sadly at times and more than not I am selfish. I am selfish with my needs and wants and expect him to be a mind reader and if things don't go my way I tend to be demanding it. I praise Yahweh for speaking on my heart. I know I was created for this man as a companion and help meet. In this I am honoring Yahweh and his son Yahshua whom died for our sins. Yahweh made this beautiful relationship to show his covenant of unconditional love and commitment between him and us and no other. It teaches us a very important role on how to serve like his son Yahshua! His son is our high priest and example of that love. He made marriage so beautiful that if the wife respects and honors her husband then he in turn will love and cherish his wife. That is the truth! The woman plays a very important role in this and the ball is really in her court to play fair and well.
Genesis 2:18 And Yahweh Elohim said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him
Genesis 2:21 And Yahweh Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which Yahweh Elohim had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

1. Love him unconditionally- Try to stay away from nagging. I am not saying you shouldn't share your feelings but do so at the right time. Wait on Yahweh to tell you. Make sure you have not gone all day without complimenting him or praising him. Show him affection and set the mood for a peaceful talk. Pick your battles ask yourself if it is something that is even worth picking at. Little things may not even be worth wasting precious moments complaining about when you could be spending quality time with him.

2. Praise Him - Our husbands take care of the family financially and protect us. I know mine is great at fixing most anything even if he has never fixed the particular item before. He finds out how to do it. He also fixes up our home and makes it comfortable and safe. Stay away from putting him down and instead lift him up.Avoid trying to "change" your spouse. Love him for who he is and you will see a change.

3. Show your appreciation- Make him his favorite meal/dessert or buy him his favorite drink of choice. This will go a long way in showing him that you care for him and appreciate all he does. I know there are other special ways to show him your appreciation that is just between the two of you :)

4 Listen- When your husband talks to you, put down whatever you are doing at the moment and give him your full attention and eye contact (if you have children try to work around this and teach them to not interupt, I am still working on this). This is a huge respect and love thing. He wants to know that you value what he says as important.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: James 1:19

5. Offer your help- If your husband seems stressed and overwhelmed. Ask him if he needs help with anything. If he can't find something help him look. Offer your assistance it goes a long way. Matthew 20:28 - Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

 6. Don't talk bad about him- I cannot stress this enough. This is a major trust error and can really hurt your relationship. I have been guilty of this in the past and thought I was venting but it really hurt him. Have one safe person to get advice from and keep your husband in a positive light.
Proverbs 12:4 A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

7. Honor his parents/family- Avoid talking badly about his family. Love them and show them. Find ways to love them as your neighbor and show Yahshua's love which in turn shows your husband his love as well.

8. Compliment his appearance- we usually only think women need this affirmation, but men like to know you find them attractive as well. Also make sure you always make time to love him (if you know what I mean) even if you are tired. A husband likes to show his love in different ways. We don't want to reject his love :)

9. Spend time with him- Find something you both like to do and suggest you do it together. This is so important and will strengthen your bound and marriage.

10.  Apologize - Always apologize for anything where you were not putting your best effort forward or it seemed a terrible argument occurred and said things that were regretful even if you thought he deserved it. Repeat this on a consistent basis and I know you will see awesome things occur. I know I have!
Proverbs 21:19 - It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

So if we want a truly "happy" marriage it is up to us for the most part! (I am talking about healthy marriages not abusive ones that would require some counseling and accountability) Thank you for reading and I praise Yahweh for teaching me his son's ways so that I can be more like him and I say this all in Yahshua's precious name.
