Headband

I made this headband for my daughter pictured above. I am wearing it for a closer look :)

what you need:

A wide plastic headband: $1 (I bought at a IGA for a dollar but you could also check your local Dollar store)
A pair of Girl's ripped tights: I already had a pair on hand that my daughter had ripped at school.
A button
Glue Gun with glue stick

What to Do:

I cut the tights in strips across the leg parts (this pair was striped so it did make it easier to cut straight) making them look like circle hair bands

Wrap the circle bands around the headband until it is filled up except the very bottom

Use the last few to tie toward the top for a bow look

I added a button in the middle of the bow with a glue gun

The results a cute headband that only cost me $1
